Refund Policy

This is the seller’s refund policy for Mounted. It explains how refunds work and what happens to your licence afterwards.

Paddle handles refunds

Mounted is sold through Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes your payment, so Paddle also processes refunds. Refund requests are handled under Paddle’s refund policy and Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Your right to withdraw

Under Paddle’s refund policy, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason.

Mounted is digital content. Paddle’s policy sets out exceptions for digital content that has been supplied and used during the withdrawal period, so the right to withdraw may not apply in every case. Please read Paddle’s refund policy for the full details.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. If Mounted is faulty or not as described, you keep any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

You can try Mounted before you buy. The free version includes every feature, and the five-day trial lets you use Mounted with full functionality first.

How to ask for a refund

You can ask for a refund in either of these ways:

  • contact Paddle using the details in the receipt email Paddle sent you when you bought Mounted; or
  • email us at [email protected] with your order details, and we’ll help you through it.

Paddle will reply about your request and handle any refund as set out in Paddle’s refund policy.

What happens after a refund

When a full refund of your licence is completed, the licence stops unlocking paid features the next time your Mac checks the licence online.

  • Mounted keeps working as the free version.
  • Your shares, groups, settings and saved passwords are kept.
  • Nothing is unmounted.

With the free version, two shares can be active at once. Your other shares stay saved, so you can buy a licence again later and carry on where you left off.

Refunding an extra year of updates

If you refund only an extra year of updates, just that year of update coverage is removed. Your licence and the rest of your coverage stay in place.
